Just days after losing backup point guard Darren Collison to the Sacramento Kings, the Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly filled that void by using their bi-annual exception to sign free agent Jordan Farmar.

Farmar has spent five of his seven NBA seasons with the Clippers' Staples Center co-habs, the Los Angeles Lakers. He played 41 games for them last season, missing half the year thanks to a spate of groin and hamstring injuries.

When able to stay on the court, Farmar performed admirably in a backup role, averaging 10.1 points and 4.9 assists in just over 22 minutes per game, while shooting a terrific 43.8 percent from beyond the arc.

After agreeing to the deal, Farmar had some bittersweet parting words for the franchise that drafted him back in 2006.
