Report: 76ers' Jason Richardson opts-in on final year of contract

Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard Jason Richardson has elected to hang around for another year, according to Eric Pincus of BasketballInsiders.com.

Richardson played in 33 games in his first year with the 76ers, averaging a career-low 10.5 points in better than 28 minutes per game.

It would be hard to imagine him receiving anything close to the $6.6 million he'll be owed by the 76ers had he elected to go the free agency route.
