VIDEO: Watch out Pacers - Ray Allen hits pregame three from tunnel

Brian Spurlock / USA Today Sports

There are plenty of reasons for the Indiana Pacers to be wary of Ray Allen ahead of Game 6 Friday night.

Sure, the 38-year-old is averaging a modest 9.5 points through 14 playoff games and his 38.3 percent mark from long range isn't striking by his lofty standards, but he's been hot in the series, hitting 11-of-24 from deep and averaging 11 points.

He must be guarded, and his presence in either corner makes help defense in the paint an incredibly risky proposition. No player has ever hit more threes than Allen, in the regular season, the playoffs or both combined, and you want to leave him open to help down low? That's the decision that faces Pacer defenders when LeBron James or Dwyane Wade get a step on the initial defender.

Well, if all of that wasn't enough to scare them, how about this: Allen is sinking shots from the tunnel before the game:

Good luck, Indiana.
