Boozer won't start at power forward for the Bulls next season, as teammate Taj Gibson confirmed rumors that he'll start in Boozer's place next season, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Analysis:

While there is no word from the Bulls' front office or from Boozer on where this will leave him next season, it seems unlikely that he'll be content coming off the bench for the Bulls. With a $16.8 million salary next season, it might be hard for the Bulls to find someone willing to trade for him, in which case amnestying him could be the Bulls' next option. Having his contract amnestied would leave Boozer free to sign a new contract with another team. He averaged 13.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in 29.2 minutes this season, his lowest numbers since his rookie year with the Cavaliers in 2002-03.
