Pelicans' Tyreke Evans undergoes arthroscopic surgery on right knee

New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans underwent minor arthroscopic surgery on Wednesday to clean out scar tissue in his right knee, according to the team's official website.

The expected timetable for recovery is 6-8 weeks.

Evans averaged 14.5 points, 5.0 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 72 games with the Pelicans in the regular season.
