Al Horford: (Shoulder) Will Not Participate In Playoffs

Horford (shoulder) will not be able to participate at any point during the Hawks' series with the Pacers, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Analysis:

This news isn't too surprising considering that it has been unofficially stated up until this point. Of course, the deeper the Hawks go in the playoffs, the possibility of Horford returning grows. However, they have a daunting matchup with the Pacers and Horford would likely still be doubtful heading even further into the postseason.
