Eric Gordon: (Knee) Questionable for Friday

Gordon is questionable for Friday's outing against the Jazz, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. "It's not like something that's going to keep on going for a long time," he said regarding his bout with knee tendinitis. "It's almost like a sprain, but I just got to monitor it and keep on exercising."

Analysis:

Since initially suffering the injury last Friday, Gordon has three DNPs in a row on his ledger. However, following Thursday's practice, he put up foul shots with some teammates, providing a glimmer of hope that a return could soon occur. If not, Anthony Morrow will likely start at shooting guard, from which he poured in 27 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, and one block in 34 minutes Wednesday.
