Wizards' Miller: Nuggets HC Brian Shaw demanded apology before potential return

The feud between Wizards' guard Andre Miller and Nuggets head coach Brian Shaw is behind them, but the effects of their fallout continues to emanate.
On Sunday, Miller returned to Denver for the first time since being dealt at the trade deadline. After the game, Michael Lee of the Washington Post caught up with Miller, who shed some light on the spat with his former coach:
“They were like, ‘If you come back and apologize, it’ll be all good.’ I wasn’t willing to make that decision. Because of my morals, what I felt was the right thing to do for me.”
Miller finished the game with 2 points on 1-of-3 shooting in 13 minutes of play. His Wizards lost to the Nuggets by a score of 105-102.
