Brooks didn't take part in morning shootaround due to knee tendonitis and is a game-time call for Wednesday's contest in New Orleans, the Rockets' official site reports.

Analysis:

With Patrick Beverley out of commission due to a broken right hand, Brooks is the sole point guard on the Rockets aside from Jeremy Lin. Since assuming a larger role in the rotation on Dec. 21, Brooks has averaged 8.5 points (on 39.1 percent shooting), 2.3 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.6 three-pointers in 20 minutes. If he misses any action, James Harden will likely take on even more of the ball handling, which will open up minutes for Francisco Garcia and Ronnie Brewer.
