Redick is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with wrist and elbow injuries, and it seems the Clips prefer to slot Green into the starting lineup over Jamal Crawford. Green has averaged just over 10 minutes in his five games this season, but could theoretically approach 20 minutes on a nightly basis while Redick is on the shelf, assuming this sticks.
