If Kendrick Perkins (hip) is forced to miss time during the Western Conference Semifinals, Mohammed would start at center in his absence, NewsOK.com reports.
"If it becomes necessary, we'll go with Nazr, but everybody will have to chip in," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said Thursday. The team is holding out hope that Perkins will be ready, but Mohammed has been getting most of the looks in practice. The Thunder await the winner of the Nuggets/Lakers series, currently tied 3-3.
