San Antonio Spurs center Pau Gasol became the 43rd player in NBA history to hit the 20,000-point career benchmark.

Gasol splashed a mid-range jumper for his 12th and 13th points against the Utah Jazz. The 36-year-old entered Wednesday's game with 19,988 points across his career split between Memphis, Los Angeles, Chicago, and now San Antonio.

Gasol's accomplishment is a testament to his consistency. The big Spaniard never averaged more than 21 points per game, but mostly remained durable throughout his career. He has also retained his scoring touch into his late-30s having never averaged less than 12 points per game.

Other active NBA players in the 20K club include Joe Johnson, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, Paul Pierce, LeBron James, and Dirk Nowitzki.
