Kings' Kosta Koufos: Resting Friday vs. Lakers

Koufos won't play in Friday's game against the Lakers for rest purposes, Sean Cunningham of ABC 10 Sacramento (KXTV) reports.

Analysis:

Koufos will be on the bench for the fifth straight game for rest-related reasons, and it seems likely that we've seen the last of him this season. With the Kings eager to find more playing time for their younger bigs, Willie Cauley-Stein, Skal Labissiere and Georgios Papagiannis, there simply isn't room left over in the rotation for the 28-year-old Koufos.
