Knicks' Derrick Rose: Undergoes knee surgery

Rose (knee) underwent a left knee arthroscopy to repair his torn meniscus on Monday.

Analysis:

It was announced on Sunday that Rose would miss the remainder of the season due to his torn meniscus. The point guard has suffered a plethora of knee injuries in his career, but this particular one appears to be on the more minor side. The team described the surgery as "uncomplicated" and said that he is expected to resume basketball activities in 3-to-6 weeks.
