Knicks' Carmelo Anthony: Leads team in scoring despite inefficient shooting

Anthony (back) scored 23 points (9-25 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT) to go along with seven rebounds and two assists across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 100-91 win over the Bulls.

Analysis:

Anthony didn't have his best night shooting the ball, perhaps partly due to the back issue that kept him out of the previous two games, but he doubled the number of shot attempts as his next closest teammate and led the squad in scoring by a comfortable margin. He was able to play a full compliment of minutes in this one and appears to be well enough to perform his usual role of volume scorer over the last few games of the season.
