Kings' Arron Afflalo: Out Tuesday against Mavericks

Afflalo will miss Tuesday's game against the Mavericks with a lower-back strain, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Analysis:

Afflalo has missed a few games recently while tending to a personal issue, but he'll now be confined to the sideline for injury-related reasons. With only five games left on the schedule and the Kings vying for a high lottery pick, there's no need for coach Dave Joerger to turn to Afflalo for major minutes when he's hurting. With Anthony Tolliver (hip) also out Tuesday, look for Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Buddy Hield and Ben McLemore to cover all the minutes at small forward.
