Nuggets' Jameer Nelson: Out Sunday vs. Heat

Nelson (calf) will sit out Sunday's game against the Heat, Chris Dempsey of Altitude Sports reports.

Analysis:

Nelson strained his right calf in Friday's loss to the Hornets and continues to nurse some lingering discomfort, so he'll sit out Sunday for additional rest. His next opportunity to take the floor will be Tuesday against the Pelicans, but in the meantime, Jamal Murray is expected to start at point guard, while Emmanuel Mudiay should reenter the rotation as Murray's backup.
