Nets' Brook Lopez: Struggles against Pistons

Lopez scored 11 points (4-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 31 minutes during Thursday's loss to the Pistons.

Analysis:

Lopez had been playing excellent lately, averaging 22.7 points while shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 41.4 percent from behind the arc over a ten game span. Once during that stretch he scored only six points, but even then he managed a respectable 3-8 from the field. His performance Thursday, however, was much worse, shooting 23.5 percent from the field and 28.6 from three. He'll look to return to his efficient ways Saturday against a Magic team that has struggled to defend since the All-Star break.
