Clippers' J.J. Redick: Will play Wednesday vs. Wizards

Redick (ankle) will play in Wednesday's matchup with the Wizards, Candace Buckner of the Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Redick missed Sunday's game against the Kings because of a sprained right ankle, but after receiving additional treatment, he's now feeling good enough to make a return to the court. The Clippers haven't reported any sort of minutes restrictions, so look for Redick to take on a full minutes load in his return to the starting lineup. That also sends Austin Rivers back to the bench, which likely means he'll have to settle for a slightly smaller role.
