Payton recorded 14 points (5-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds and 10 assists across 29 minutes during a 115-87 win over the Pistons on Friday.

Analysis:

Payton gathered his fourth triple-double of the season, all of which have come in the month of March. He has clearly amped up his all-around play over the course of the last month. Payton has an excellent 52.7 percent field goal percentage average in March, which marks his best shooting month of the season so far. It looks like he's playing the best ball of his career to close out the season.
