Pistons' Ish Smith: Scores 16 off bench Tuesday

Smith scored 16 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt) while adding seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block in 28 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 98-96 loss to the Nets.

Analysis:

With Reggie Jackson struggling once again, Smith got extra court time and helped spark a late rally for the Pistons that eventually fell short. The 28-year-old has played at least 20 minutes in five straight games, averaging 10.8 points, 3.8 assists, 3.4 boards and 1.0 steals, but as long as Smith remains on the second unit his fantasy contributions will be erratic.
