Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson: Will play Wednesday vs. Nuggets

Coach Tyronn Lue confirmed that Thompson (mouth) would play Wednesday against the Nuggets, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

Thompson exited early in Sunday's win over the Lakers after he had his front teeth knocked backwards by an errant elbow. He was absent from Tuesday's practice while receiving dental braces to repair the teeth, but it doesn't look like it will put him at risk of ending his streak of 439 consecutive games played, the longest run among all active players in the league.
