Thunder's Russell Westbrook: Struggles to produce in loss to Warriors

Westbrook finished with 15 points (4-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-7 FG), eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 27 minutes during Monday's 111-95 loss to the Warriors.

Analysis:

Westbrook missed his first seven shots of the contest, waiting until the 7:28 mark of the second quarter to score his first points, and his struggles contributed to a 20-point deficit at halftime. He was also visibly frustrated at times and was involved in a skirmish on a jump ball that resulted in technicals for him and teammate Semaj Christon, as well as Draymond Green and Stephen Curry of the Warriors. The do-everything point guard is still averaging a triple-double for the season, but he's failed to achieve the statistical feat in all but one of his four of his matchups with the Warriors, all of which have been losses.
