Cavaliers' Iman Shumpert: Day-to-day with shoulder sprain

Coach Tyronn Lue is viewing Shumpert (shoulder) as day-to-day heading into Saturday's game against the Clippers, Jason Lloyd of The Athletic Cleveland reports.

Analysis:

Shumpert exited Thursday's win over the Jazz after spraining his left shoulder on a dunk attempt in the third quarter, finishing the evening with nine points (4-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt) and three rebounds in 22 minutes. Lue indicated the team may be inclined to play it safe with Shumpert, who dislocated the same shoulder in 2014 prior to being traded to the Cavaliers. If Shumpert misses time, J.R. Smith and Kyle Korver (foot) would likely absorb most of his minutes.
