Mavericks' Wesley Matthews: Questionable Friday vs. 76ers

Matthews (calf) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the 76ers, Eddie Sefko of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

Matthews was held out of Wednesday's victory over the Wizards because of a calf injury that he originally suffered in the Mavs' previous contest. While he's still working back from the injury, coach Rick Carlisle said he's hopeful Matthews will play Friday, although we likely won't get a final word on his availability until after the team's morning shootaround. Whenever Matthews returns, it would likely result in Dorian Finney-Smith dropping back to a bench role.
