Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins: Bounces back from poor showing Saturday

Cousins scored 22 points (9-22 FG, 0-5 3Pt 4-10 FT) while adding nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 100-77 win over the Trail Blazers.

Analysis:

Cousins' struggles from beyond the arc hurt his field goal percentage and he was inconsistent from the foul line, but he was efficient enough in the paint to finish as the Pelicans' leading scorer on the night. He finished a rebound shy of a double-double as Anthony Davis grabbed a team-high 15 boards, but Cousins was still impactful enough on defense to post a useful fantasy line. His production has been more volatile since his high-profile move to New Orleans, including an 11-point, four-rebound dud Saturday, but Cousins remains a very useful fantasy asset.
