Grizzlies' Marc Gasol: Struggles with shot Saturday

Gasol mustered eight points (3-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal over 27 minutes in Saturday's 107-90 loss to the Hawks.

Analysis:

Gasol's scoring total was his lowest since way back on Dec. 31, when he'd tallied just two points over 21 minutes against the Kings. The 32-year-old Spaniard endured his third poor shooting night in five March games, as he's now posted three sub-40 percent efforts from the field over that span. While he somewhat salvaged the outing with decent rebounding numbers, it was an overall forgettable performance in what was a sub-par effort by the Grizzlies offense altogether. Gasol will look to bounce back to his typical level of offensive production when he takes on the Bucks on Monday night.
