Pelicans' Anthony Davis: Leaves Wednesday's game with bruised wrist

Davis suffered a left wrist contusion during Wednesday's game against the Raptors and is questionable to return, Justin Verrier of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Davis appeared to take a hard fall late in the second quarter and was not on the bench as the Pelicans came out of the half. He's currently considered questionable to return and it wouldn't be surprising if the Pelicans opted to play it safe with their superstar, who's well known for his lingering injury issues. We should get an updated status prior to the end of the game.
