Report: Kings' Lawson tested positive for alcohol 3 times during probation

Kelley L Cox / USA TODAY Sports

Sacramento Kings point guard Ty Lawson allegedly violated his probation after testing positive for alcohol on three occasions, according to court documents acquired by TMZ Sports.

Lawson was sentenced to 12 months of supervised probation last year on drunk driving charges, when he was ordered not to drink or use marijuana.

The 5-foot-11 guard tested positive for alcohol on Sept. 27, Sept. 29, and Feb. 7, according to TMZ.

Lawson's court date has reportedly been set for March 22 - the same day the Kings take on the Milwaukee Bucks. A warrant will be issued for his arrest should he fail to show.
