Kings' Tyreke Evans: Will play Monday vs. Nuggets

Coach Dave Joerger confirmed that Evans, who was rested in Sunday's overtime loss to the Jazz, will play Monday against the Nuggets, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Analysis:

Joerger noted that Evans, who was acquired from the Pelicans on Feb. 20, isn't supposed to play in both halves of back-to-back sets following his return from knee surgery earlier in the season, so the Kings are sticking to that plan, even though the swingman did play in both games of a back-to-back set on one occasion when he was with New Orleans. In addition to the back-to-back restriction, Evans has a rough limitation of 27 minutes for each game he plays, which caps his upside a bit in DFS contests. Over his four appearances with his new team, Evans is averaging 13.5 points (on 45% shooting), 4.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.0 block in 23.3 minutes per contest.
