Bulls' Jimmy Butler: Takes only seven field goal attempts Saturday

Butler finished with 16 points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six assists, four rebounds, and three steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 101-91 loss to the Clippers.

Analysis:

Butler hasn't taken single-digit field goal attempts since Jan. 20 against the Hawks where he took eight shots, but only played 29 minutes. While Butler is a willing distributer, averaging 7.3 assists per game since the month of February, it's usually in tandem with an aggressive scoring effort as well. Fantasy owners will likely have to wait until Monday's outing against the Pistons to determine whether or not Saturday's performance was an outlier or a trend.
