Suns' Mike Scott: Headed to Phoenix

Scott will be traded from the Hawks to the Suns in exchange for cash, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.

Analysis:

Scott missed the first month of the season with a knee injury and was never able to work himself into a rotation role once at full strength with the Hawks. That made him expendable, so he'll be shipped to Phoenix, with the Hawks bringing back cash in the deal. Scott should be a depth option in the frontcourt, but is nothing more than a deep reserve and will likely struggle to receive significant minutes on most nights.
