Heat's Justise Winslow: Sheds sling Wednesday

Winslow was spotted Wednesday without a sling covering his surgically-repaired right shoulder, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Winslow was expected to start rehab activities following the All-Star break and now that he's been able to shed the sling, it appears he's ready to ramp up his recovery. He's already been ruled out for the remainder of the 2016-17 season after undergoing surgery in early January to address a torn labrum, so the Heat will likely take it slow with his rehab in order to have him as healthy as possible for training camp in the fall.
