Pelicans' Dante Cunningham: Out Monday for personal reasons

Cunningham will sit out Monday against the Suns for personal reasons.

Analysis:

The nature of the absence is unknown at this time, but it could leave the Pelicans shorthanded in the frontcourt, with Terrence Jones' (thumb) status very much up in the air. Cunningham is coming off of a strong showing Sunday against the Kings, during which he finished with 14 points -- including four three-pointers -- to go with six rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes.
