Heat's Luke Babbitt: Day-to-day with ankle injury

Babbitt didn't participate in practice Tuesday due to a right ankle injury, Anthony Chiang of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Analysis:

Babbitt apparently suffered the injury at some point during Monday's win over the Nets, in which he played only seven minutes, his lowest total since late December. The injury doesn't appear to be serious at this time, and the Heat are listing him as day-to-day in advance of Wednesday's matchup with the Hawks. If Babbitt ends up being held out Wednesday, Okaro White could pick up the start at power forward, but James Johnson would still handle the majority of the minutes at the position, as has been the case all season.
