Bulls' Taj Gibson: Game-time decision Friday vs. Hawks

Gibson (ankle) took part in practice Thursday, but is listed as a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Hawks, Nick Friedell of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Though he was sidelined in Tuesday's 99-98 loss to the Mavericks while nursing a sore ankle, Gibson's absence was labeled as a precaution, and it was fully expected that he'd be available come Friday. However, it appears as though that plan isn't as definitive as once thought, as Gibson sat out Wednesday's practice before returning to Thursday's session. It seems he's not completely over the injury, however, so the Bulls will wait and see how he performs during Friday's morning shootaround before rendering a verdict on his status.
