Cavaliers' Kevin Love: Will play Thursday

Love (back) will play in Thursday's game against the Suns, Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Analysis:

Love exited Monday's game against the Warriors with soreness in his lower back and sat out the entire second half due to the injury. However, the game was already out of hand at halftime with the Cavaliers trailing by 29 points, so it seems likely that the team erred on the side of caution by holding him out. Love acknowledged that he experienced soreness in the team's previous game Friday against the Kings, but the issue looks like it will be remedied by two full days off for rest. Don't expect Love to face any restrictions Thursday, though the matchup against one of the dregs of the Western Conference may naturally result in coach Tyronn Lue limiting the big man's minutes if the score gets out of hand.
