Celtics' Amir Johnson: Makes trip to Atlanta, status still in question
Johnson (ankle) traveled with the Celtics to Atlanta ahead of Friday's matchup with the Hawks, but his status for the game remains undetermined, Scott Souza of the Providence Journal reports.
Analysis:
Johnson's attendance for the trip is encouraging, but his status for the game remains in jeopardy after the Celtics deemed him doubtful as of Wednesday. The big man will be evaluated at shootaround Friday, at which point it should become more clear whether or not he'll be available. The Celtics will already be without reserve center Tyler Zeller, who will miss his seventh straight game due to an illness.
