Watch: Wall beats Bulls with game-winning pullup

Geoff Burke / USA TODAY Sports

John Wall capped a brilliant game Tuesday night by burying this go-ahead pullup jumper with five seconds remaining that would hold up as the game-winner to sink the Chicago Bulls.

The Bulls, who were playing without star swingman Jimmy Butler, gave the Wizards all they could handle, and kept their noses ahead for much of the fourth quarter. But Wall took over in the game's final minute, hitting an 18-footer to tie before draining the winner over Robin Lopez, and finally grabbing the rebound off Doug McDermott's last-ditch 3-point heave to preserve the victory.

The reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Month finished with game highs in points (26) and assists (14), and while the Wizards won by just two points, Wall was a plus-24 in 40 minutes of play.
