Kings' Ty Lawson: Will not play Tuesday

Lawson (nose) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

Analysis:

Lawson exited Saturday's game against the Grizzlies early after suffering what was labeled as a non-displaced maxillary sinus fracture, but the Kings had listed him as probable in advance of Tuesday's game. However, he was still experiencing some blurred vision leading up to game time, so the Kings will err on the side of caution and keep him out. Darren Collison figures to be in line for 35-to-40 minutes at point guard, while Garrett Temple, who has already logged major playing time as a reserve shooting guard of late, will likely function as Collison's top backup.
