Barnes knocks Durant on rear during dunk attempt

USA Today Sports

It's a small victory, but a victory nonetheless for Dallas Mavericks forward Harrison Barnes.

You see, Barnes was basically forced out of the Bay Area over the offseason, so the Golden State Warriors had the cap space to sign four-time scoring champion Kevin Durant. In short, Barnes went from a team coming off a 73-win season to one struggling to remain in the playoff picture.

Well, when Dallas and Golden State squared off at the Oracle on Friday, Barnes got a tiny ounce of revenge against his replacement when he helped send Durant to the ground after his dunk attempt was deflected ever so slightly by the long arms of the seven-time All-Star.

The ball still found its way through the cylinder, and Durant was forced to pick himself up off the hardwood afterward. It probably made Barnes happy in the moment, yes, but when looking at the scoreboard, it was the Warriors having the last laugh.
