Clippers' J.J. Redick: Exits with sore hamstring

Redick left Sunday's loss to the Lakers in the second half with a sore hamstring, the Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reports. Redick could miss a game or two as a precaution, Clippers coach Doc Rivers told Arash Markazi of ESPN.com.

Analysis:

Redick turned in one of his better efforts of the season before departing, registering 22 points (8-16 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds and one steal in 26 minutes. The Clippers were without Chris Paul (hamstring) for the second straight game and indicated he'd miss at least two more contests, so his absence on top of Blake Griffin's (knee) would leave the team extremely short on reliable scoring options if Redick is also forced to sit out Monday against the Nuggets and beyond.
