Celtics' Gerald Green: Active Sunday, but doesn't play

Green (hip) was active for Sunday's game against the Heat, but didn't see the floor in a coach's decision.

Analysis:

The Celtics chose to make youngsters Demetrius Jackson and Jordan Mickey inactive for the contest, an indication that Green is no longer bothered by the sore hip, which had sidelined him for the past two games. Even so, Green isn't a part of coach Brad Stevens' rotation at the moment, and that will likely remain the case so long as the team's roster is at full health.
