Warriors' JaVale McGee: Season-high scoring Thursday

McGee scored 17 points (8-10 FG, 1-3 FT) along with two rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot over 16 minutes in Golden State's 103-90 win over the Knicks on Thursday.

Analysis:

McGee was a highlight reel of alley-oop dunks, leading to his season-high scoring total on a night he out-pointed Stephen Curry (eight points) and Kevin Durant (15). He's been the most productive fill-in for Zaza Pachulia (wrist), who missed his fourth straight game Thursday, and will continue to start for as long as needed. Pachulia participated in Thursday's shootaround after an MRI on Wednesday came back negative, so it would appear he's nearing a return. That could come as soon as Saturday against Portland.
