Analysis:

Carter had averaged 26.5 minutes per game this season coming into Tuesday, so the drop off in playing time likely came as a result of the team easing him back into the rotation following his hip injury. The 39-year-old can be counted on to fire up several three-pointers, grab a few rebounds and dish out multiple assists when his minutes inch back closer to his season average.
