Pacers' Monta Ellis: Held scoreless in Friday's loss

Ellis failed to score a point (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and provided two rebounds and two assists across 22 minutes in Friday's 111-103 loss to the Mavericks.

Analysis:

Ellis has now fallen below double figures in the scoring column in five of the last six games, averaging 6.2 points on 28.6 percent shooting from the field over that stretch. With the Pacers now sitting a disappointing fifth in the Central Division with an 11-12 record, coach Nate McMillan could consider dropping the struggling Ellis to the bench in favor of either C.J. Miles (18 points in 28 minutes) or Rodney Stuckey (nine points, eight assists in 27 minutes), both of whom outproduced Ellis on Friday.
