Kings' Matt Barnes: Ruled out Friday
Barnes will not play in Friday's game against the Knicks for rest purposes, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports.
Analysis:
The team is calling it "scheduled rest", but the NYPD reportedly may arrest Barnes due to his involvement in a nightclub altercation. Omri Casspi will presumably see his role increased providing depth at small forward with Barnes sidelined. Expect an update on his situation when more information becomes available.
