Ariza had been dealing with back spasms stemming from the Rockets' previous game Friday against the Nuggets, but he was cleared to play prior to Monday's contest and responded with an effective outing while playing his usual allotment of minutes. The veteran forward has thrived this season in coach Mike D'Antoni's pace-and-space attack, as he's averaging a career-high 2.8 three-pointers per game while nailing them at a 38.1 percent clip.
