76ers' Nik Stauskas: Shooting woes continue Monday
Stauskas posted four points (1-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with five assists, three rebounds and one block in 35 minutes of action during Monday's 106-98 loss to the Nuggets.
Analysis:
Stauskas earned the start again Monday night in place of Robert Covington (knee), but the former Michigan Wolverine played like anything but a starter for the third straight game. During that time, he's made just 17 percent of his field goals, including a lowly 18 percent from behind the three-point line. Covington has been ruled out for each of Philadelphia's next three games, but head coach Larry Brown may want to think about replacing Stauskas in the starting lineup, at least until he starts putting the ball in the hoop again.
