Bulls' Paul Zipser: Returns to action Saturday

Zipser (back) played four minutes in Saturday's 107-82 loss to the Mavericks, scoring no points while missing his only shot attempt from the field.

Analysis:

Zipser had missed the Bulls' past seven games while nursing the back injury, but he wasn't a regular in coach Fred Hoiberg's rotation even when healthy. Once the Bulls get Doug McDermott (concussion) back on the bench to restore some depth on the wing, Zipser could be a candidate to head to the D-League's Windy City Bulls.
